Good time to close a public facility that serves mostly children.

Oh, some folks must care, I have fond memories of a public pool when I was a kid. And they must teach a school water program there.

The real issue is the expense of building and maintaining one in this day and age.

How do you turn ten intelligent people into an idiot? Put them in a committee, or government office. Good monarchs could run our cities and national government better than these idiots do. But we’d still bitch about the monarchs, we’re just a bunch of damn whiners.

Close to half a million dollars to spruce up for coolaid (tm) and a "light lunch". Gads. Everyone will get cramps anyway, not supposed to swim after eating and gramma was always right.

Light lunch...ha ha ha. Genius - no cramps and we save taxpayer money and all is right with the world Hear that you over-eaters who torture us with your cannonballs!? Light lunch!

"Funny" what these politicians decide we have, or don't have money for.

We have enough tax money to bail out millionaire bankers, so that they can give each other million dollar "bonuses" at the end of each year, but not enough to keep libraries open, or public pools.

Obviously, the unions are the problem.

Oh, I see. Wasteful spending on the federal level justifies wasteful spending in Port Angeles. Brilliant one, hall monitor.

Ok, Rodney King is dead. Looks like the cops around here have given up punishing the 2nd jury and the people who rioted after the 1st verdict. Time for judges to get on board!

$750 and he's out. Give me a break. Someone tell the judge, it was over twenty years ago, and Rodney King is dead. If they help the cops clean up the streets, we promise, at least in Port Angeles, to not riot. We promise. Or at least I do.
