Changes/Improvements at Landing Mall

The Landing Mall is already one of the main attractions along the downtown waterfront. With excellent restaurants, shops and views of the harbor, it's a great place for tourists and local residents. And don't forget the Olympic Coast Discovery Center.

And soon there will be some new attractions. A bookstore, French bakery, wine & cheese shop and a florist will be added to the mix. The interior of the building is being remodeled, and when the remodeling is done (late August?) the new businesses should start moving in. There will also be a new viewing tower.

The Port Angeles waterfront just keeps getting better and better.

What no "Body Ink" Shop?
Seriously I think it's great we need more life downtown. The building in its present state is really stale. I for one love our book stores so I'm not sure another one is needed, however a natural food store one that carries maybe farmers market produce all the time would be great. Also offering a deli and to go section like the PT co-op. Pulling in on the Coho last week the dock is decrepid and in desperate need of improvement not only will that provide a visual welcome but a terrific place to walk and sit and have lunch.

Isn't Sunny Farms moving into the Landing Mall? I sure hope they do as we need a proper natural food store in town!

Hey WAIT...there IS A DELI in Port Angeles!!!
Spicer's Delicatessen and Grocery in the HarborTown Mall (between Thai Peppers and India Oven). It has real deli meats (pastrami, corned beef, salami's ..real salami's.. and high-end meats. Not your run of the mill cheap stuff!). And, there are cooking essentials: spices, oils, condiments, chili peppers, hot sauces, and hard-to-find items.
It's new...so come check the place out...we to be supported to stay in business.
Open late (until 8) on Wednesdays. Open 7 days a week (until 5)

The new Spicer's Deli is a great place. I got some stuff there that isn't available anywhere else in town. But more high-end shops at the Landing Mall would be great, too. A nice draw for downtown, which we need!

Yay for Downtown P.A.!
