I would be interested in hearing about a new start up business here that will build electric vehicles for use in and around town.

In China, there is a huge boom in small two person electric vehicles intended only for local use. They don't go faster than 40 mph, and aren't allowed on highways. But, they are perfect for getting around town.

Instead of this silly composites recycling project, why doesn't local government look ahead, and do something actually useful? Create a small factory building the bodies, fitting the hardware, and providing support for what is clearly the future.

It is already happening elsewhere. When are we going to get tired of being the chumps that get left behind?

Good for them! We need to start having dialogs about this.

I ride in Port Angeles every day, and every day it freaks me out. Between hostile drivers, hostile flaggers, and pothole-y roads it's a challenge.
