Jim McEntire and Jim Hallett to speak at Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
At tomorrow's meeting of the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce, the guests will be Port of Port Angeles Commissioner Jim Hallett and Clallam County Commissioner Jim McEntire. They will be discussing economic development strategy for Clallam County.

Oh great! They have such a great track record, so far. That's why Port Angeles is "below average incomes", to quote the city financial officer. Why the unemployment rate is above State and Federal averages.
After all these years of trying, and spending money, you would think we would see better results.
But, they are still getting paid.
Battle of the witless
Strategy? You mean "please give us taxpayer money under the pretext of creating jobs so we can funnel it through the EDC to timber companies, both of who admit the timber industry isn't creating jobs anymore"? That strategy?
