Olympic Medical Center Levy

With a deadline of August 19th, local voters will be voting on yet another levy: for the Olympic Medical Center.

This seems to be the biggest topic in the PDN these days, and you can't pass a store window or a bulletin board without seeing posters begging for the tax increase.

What say you?

I say NO!
Why? Because #1, there are TOO MANY administrators. #2, school levies only need 50%+1 now to pass...how many more of THOSE are coming down the pike? They are already talking about foisting the "tech levy" at us again...and spending money they don't have to do it! What is it about NO that they don't understand? I am tired of being taxed to death!

If it's something that benefits us personally (schools, transit, hospitals), they let us vote on it.

If it's something that doesn't benefit anybody except a few deep pockets, we don't get to vote.

Governments, can't live with 'em...

No, they overspent unwisely and are now trying to pass it off as charity cases.
