Stimulus Package + Elwha Dam Removal = JOBS
Well, let’s hope. 150 to 200 jobs are expected to be created this summer and lasting through 2011.
Also, a greenhouse for Olympic National Park will be constructed this summer on a 5-acre section of Robin Hill Farm Park. The greenhouse will be used for growing plants that will re-vegetate the areas that get laid bare when the Elwha dams are removed.
The construction project will include the greenhouse, nursery beds, cold frames and a tool shed. It’s supposed to be completed this fall.

this is off topic, but does it seem like the local rightwingers have taken over that online PDN poll?
Yesterday's question was "how do you rate Obama's first 100 days"? Obama carried Clallam and Jefferson counties in the election, but this vote had 41% saying "poor" and only 26% saying "excellent." methinks a few rednecks are just sitting there at their computers, voting in this survey over and over.
That's all the Rethugs have left, hate and more hate. I understand there's another hate festival er, "protest" scheduled for the summer. Another chance to show the hate and turn off even more independent voters!
I do believe the only thing they "hate" is out-of-control high taxes and more and more gubmint spending...as we all do.
