New Name, New Destination for Port Townsend-Whidbey Ferry

The MV Salish will be in service within the next year. Combined with the MV Chetzemok, there will be two ferries running between Port Townsend and Whidbey Island for the first time since 2007.

And the ferries will now go to Coupeville instead of Keystone.

I didn't realize that there was that much traffic on that route that two ferries would be needed.

But a man visiting this area last weekend had to wait until the 1:30 ferry to get to this side. He's followed my blogs for a few years so it was interesting meeting him, we had a great time.

Um, didn't mean to make that sound about me, I just tossed that in here also, they were here for a wedding on the island and some vacation time over here.
