What is up with this town lately? Everyone's crying about how the only reason they fail is because of the box stores or no one appreciates how special they truly are.
I'm no Randoid, but this town sure is turning into a parody of Atlas Shrugged... only conservatives are whining just as much as the liberals.
PA had the chance to become what Sequim has, but as far as I'm concerned it can all stay over in Sequim.
It seems to me that, before Sequim can promote itself, it has to decide who/what it is as a community. Is it a charming little (kinda) farming community - or is it just another small town, strip mall Hell?
Sequim's at a crossroads, and I wish them well. The signs look good (new City Council, etc), but we'll have to see.
As for "Randoids" - YIKES!

Kinda late for that... That "decision" was made for them by Walt and Co. They can advertise their Applebee’s and Home Depots, but I don't think they're gonna get allot of takers.
Anymore, Sequim is just a place for the middle class to by a half acre "farm" and wait to die.
