Possible New Home for the Bubble Building
Port Angeles' inflatable field house might be used by the Sequim High School campus to cover six tennis courts. The idea was proposed by the Peninsula Tennis Club, but first it will have to be approved by the Sequim School Board.

Not going to happen.
Geez! It was such a great deal, when Port Angeles whipped itself up into a frenzy to get this thing, how many years ago??
We should just GIVE this thing to Sequim for FREE...along with a bill for 500k for "Shipping"
How much WAS spent to get that bubble building to Port Angeles?
How much WAS spent to get that bubble building to Port Angeles?
500k...350k from the city and 150k from the Y.
"500k...350k from the city and 150k from the Y."
Really? And nothing was ever done with it?
Were there any attempts to hold anybody accountable for this folly?
WTF? is completely wrong!

B.S. Those costs were the estimates of how much might have to be spent to get the thing put up, including the cost of new tennis courts and the soccer surface. The total cost to get it here was less than $15,000 (and none of that was from the City).
"The total cost to get it here was less than $15,000 (and none of that was from the City)."
Really? That is quite a difference from the $500k we were told. What gives?

WTF? is just mistaken. Ask any "YMCA" Board member or anyone from the Peninsula Tennis Club. They are the two groups who paid the entire cost to get it here (and to keep it in the hanger at the airport).
"The total cost to get it here was less than $15,000 (and none of that was from the City)."
Thats right... the 500k was the total to get the thing up and running...

But the clarification, once looked into, is:

Oh, okay. So $500k wasn't actually spent to get the building to Port Angeles.
