Clallam County Planning Commission to Unveil Stormwater Management Plan

As early as next month, county planning officials will be presenting to the public a 77-page plan for managing stormwater runoff.  The goal is to prevent storm runoff from carrying pollutants into waterways and shellfish beds.  Their methods for accomplishing this include new development standards, public education, control of illegal discharges and ongoing monitoring.

Zac Garripoli spent months promoting Colleen McAleer as a candidate for Port Commissioner. Now, today, he's bad mouthing her campaign, and her.

Zac, you're an idiot! Go organize a fundraiser for your $100 million dollar autoclave and SHUT UP!

Oh gee, and here I thought that giant turd tank was going to solve all our problems.

I wonder what the final bill for all this is going to be? You know, when it gets abandoned after a decade or two of city wrangling...

Sure glad the taxpayers here have unlimited money. Yes siree!

Anon 8:41 You do realize that the County has a different jurisdiction than the City?

As mind numbingly stupid and expensive as the Turd Tank project is, it is a separate deal from what the County has been working to develop for the last ?? years.

With the Turd Tank, the city staff lied to decision makers and the public to get approvals to build a project that cost millions, will cost Port Angeles residents every year for ongoing operation, and increases pollution.

The County's proposals are largely changes in land use regulations designed to minimize run-off from new developments.

you hit the nail on the head here. Zac is the typical person who thinks his ideas are the only good ones, when in fact there are not. Kind of like the pellet stove idea, who ever came up with that one does not know how to do business anywhere let alone China.

Actually, if you follow these things, you would know that the waste industry sees gasification as the future for municipal waste management.

Not that I think Zac knows much of anything.

Hey anonymous, when did I promote Mcleer? I was open-minded, greeted her, but then she revealed her [empty] self. Now look at the mess she is making! You are 'anonymous' because you give the other mice a bad rep.
