Jim Hallett and Ken O'Halloren to Speak at Chamber Luncheon
At tomorrow's Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce luncheon, the guests will be Jim Hallett, president of the Port of Port Angeles board of commissioners; and Ken O'Halloren, interim executive director of the Port of Port Angeles.

And, I'll bet some real earth shattering news will be made public there, too.
You know, like the City is trying to get Boeing to locate operations on the former Pen Ply site.
If the Chamber picks up lunch tabs for its speakers, then taxpayers have just saved $30! Otherwise, both these guys would attend the meeting anyway and put the cost on their expense accounts.
The real reason why the Port Commissioners changed their regular meeting dates to Tuesdays from Mondays is so they all could attend the Monday C of C lunches and eat that delicious food at public expense.
Going to such meetings and babbling to others makes them feel important and needed. Mostly cuz there is no one there to tell them they are full of shit.
Ya would think that after a couple of years of doing that, and having nothing to show for all the time spent at these meetings, that they would figure it out. It is a waste of time!
