$14,000 Fine against Sprint Boat Racetrack

Extreme Sports Park co-owner Dan Morrison has been fined $14,000 by the EPA for filling in 1.3 acres of wetlands when the race track was constructed.  He is also required to have the filled-in wetlands area restored by September 30th of this year.

And on that note, one of the two annual American Sprint Boat Racing events is being held tomorrow.

Where did the water come from to fill the facility, this year? Oh, that's right, there is no problem. While there is "voluntary conservation", people in Port Angeles use MORE water.

Typical.

What? Me worry?

With all the things going on in this town, days go by with nothing posted? People too stoned to care about anything, anymore?
