Port Ludlow Online
Port Ludlow might be taking a step into the 21st Century. At yesterday’s Port Ludlow Chamber of Commerce meeting, members were pitched the idea of a “digital village” for Port Ludlow.
The idea comes from David Pike and Dean Mosier of Port Ludlow. Mosier said: “Just imagine if you could sit down at your computer and go to just one site for your entire community. This is that site.”
The website would be for business owners, residents and visitors. It would be a virtual storefront for merchants and their customers, and there would be access to local forums and bulletin boards, classified ads, news and weather.
The Chamber of Commerce hasn’t approved the idea yet, but most of the members at yesterday’s meeting were interested. If Port Ludlow adopts this website, maybe the idea will spread to other communities on the Olympic Peninsula. People could patronize local merchants without having to fight their way through traffic and construction projects.

That sounds like a great thing they're doing but it probably won't happen in PA. The entire Port Townsend-Port Ludlow-Port Hadlock-Chimacum area could be interconnected and PA will still be doing what it's always done.
I have to agree with the first poster ... great idea, not likely to happen in P.A. with the techno-phobic fuddy duddies we've got.
It was nice to see so many people at Studio Bob last night!
Yes, those art galleries put on a great show last night. Studio Bob, the gallery on North Laurel and the one at Landings. This monthly event gets better every time.
Wait... why does this sound familiar? Wasn't something like this being talked about in Port Angeles several years back?
