Why couldn't it have been the Chinook?

Oh geez, they are good friends of mine, I worked out there part time for Terry for about three years and did a lot of the repairs and remodeling and new construction and such.

Being as I don't take the local fish wrap or listen to the radio this is the first I heard of it. I'd better give them a call.

I hope Granny's comes out alright. They make excellent pies.

And the Chinook can't burn. It's too damn damp.

Actually, it wasn't fully engulfed in flames. About five years ago I built a double wall in one of the rooms as a sound barrier and it appears that it may have slowed down the fire and saved the back half of the units from too much damage.

Maybe a good thing, maybe not, being as it took the fire department over half an hour to get there.

I was only able to talk to him for about a minute on the phone this evening, I'll drive out there tomorrow and maybe I'll learn more.
