Hey Jackson, did you pay someone to figure out how to build your business or did you just light up a joint and figure it out yourself?

I'm just wondering.

Oh, dear. The City Manager's wife actually wants to survey the opinions of the Port Angeles community? Her Strategies may be in dire Straits.....

My successful business was built on twelve packs of beer and a hell of a lot of thinking and research that was free being as it was my thinking and research. :-)

The city manager's wife owns a business consulting firm in the same city, how cozy. Does "cozy" equal "conflict of interest"?

Conflict of interest, indeed. This is a bad omen for our so-called "impartial and fair" city manager.

Only if you're dumb enough to pay for it. LOL

If someone thinks they are smart enough to charge me consulting fees they had better have a net worth of over 2 million dollars or there is no reason for me to believe they are any smarter than I am.

And isn't a certain city council member making a big noise about conflicts of interest by previous city employees? Why isn't this particular council person making a big noise about this?

I'm kind of confused why you guys think it is a conflict of interest if she isn't working for the city or collecting data for the city? Marketing local businesses a conflict of interest? Is she not supposed to work at all?

The last city council election was largely about the supposed influence of friends and relatives on city council members/employees in order to gain business advantages.

Max Mania, in particular, made this the center piece of his campaign. You would think that "Mr. Transparent" would be against this latest impropriety, but apparently not. Especially as "Mr. Transparent" is pretty chummy with the city manager.

O.K., Mania, let's see you talk your way out of this one.

Is there anyone in the twilight twinkie zone that isn't crazy?

Hell, we should all be locked up but then there wouldn't be anyone to feed us. LOL

Ooh! Gosh - I'll bet a certain city council member's ears are burning right now! Whoever he or she might be. Supposedly.

And how, pray tell, might this certain council member be expected to make a "big noise" about this? Stand on a street corner with a bullhorn? Take out a full-page ad in the PDN?

And how, pray tell, do you know what any particular council member is doing, or saying? Are you psychic?

If the City of PA hires Kent Myers' wife then there would be a conflict of interest. Otherwise there is nothing more going on than you bloggers trying to make news. PATHETIC

Dudes. What up?

Firstly, let me say that Westside Pizza exceeded my expectations as far as taking care of those post bowl munchies. Killer pizza.

Secondly, I don't dig political types cos they're just geezers in suits and what they say brings me down from the state of elevation I try to maintain. You know. Dude, I did vote for Max Maniac because of his name. I thought he was a wrestler or something. I thought Dude! it would be killer to have a wrestler win an election. Sweet! I don't know if he's a real wrestler but he's still cool with me.

Peace out y'all.
