Bus Stop at the New Wal-Mart
Apparently Wal-Mart's new location isn't very user-friendly to transit riders. Who do you think should be responsible for fixing this problem, Clallam County Transit (i.e. your tax dollars) or Wal-Mart?

Walmart is under no obligation to "fix" this! Liberals cry about this but then whine that there aren't enough areas where vehicles are excluded!
I think the bus stops are fine as is, it's a walk from the bus stops in Sequim to the Walmart there also and I don't recall hearing the folks in Sequim whining about it. I think there is just a bunch of whiners in this town that think they deserve special treatment.
Take a walk and get some fat off your lazy asses.
But who screwed up and never planned putting in a sidewalk?
I take a bus to Sequim to visit Helen in the rehab center and have to walk a half mile or more to get there.
Maybe I should whine about that or just enjoy the walk.
How is it any different than the 'old' one RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD?
How is it any different than the 'old' one RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD?
At the old one the bus went through the parking lot almost right to the front doors.
The designated stops in PA route for the Commuter is crap (and they aren't allowed to stop anywhere that isn't designated). Why can't we have an extra two stops at Bay View (closer to the Safeway plaza) while they are figuring out the layout for the bus stop out at Wal*Mart? I don't want to be chauffeured to the Safeway doorway, just brought a little closer to the main destination.
That secondary route into Wal*Mart isn't navigable by a bus, I reckon. It's crookeder than a dog's hind leg. There is already a sign saying that big trucks shouldn't go that way. Whoever designed that route needs a horsewhipping.
I think just putting another sidewalk down the east side of Kolonel (why is it spelled like that? So much fail) should suffice, but you know, the people aren't going to be happy with that. They are the ones that want to be chauffeured.
After all, it is important to get these patriotic monkeys and christians to easy access to Walmart stores to buy Chinese made stuff.
After a few more joints I should be able to get this shit figured out. Or simply not give a fuck anymore.
Hey Tom, I think the budget cuts at the county needs to be posted.
Kolonel wasn't always spelled that way, for a time it was spelled the standard way (when KMart was in that spot).
It's spelled right if you're from Estonia!
"Kolonel is a rank of the Belgium, Estonia and Netherlands which corresponds to the rank of Colonel in other countries."

I was just at Walmart for a new wiper blade and during a moment of awareness noticed that there is a sidewalk from the West bound bus stop, but not one on the Walmart side.
That does seem odd. But at least there is one sidewalk you can go down far enough to get to a point where it's safe enough to cross the street to the store. I'm okay with that being as I'll be walking there at times.
Anon. 7:15 a.m.: Do you mean this article in today's PDN?
"Walmart is under no obligation to "fix" this! Liberals cry about this but then whine that there aren't enough areas where vehicles are excluded!"
Where, other than in your intellectually poor and Fox "News" rhetoric saturated mind do you see that "Liberals" have ANYTHING to do with this issue??
Geezz.. ya can't even comment about a flippin' bus stop without it being a "Liberal Conspiracy"!
Next, the sun rising every day will be a "Liberal Conspiracy".
Sigh.
Yep Tom.
