Border Patrol Agents Address Forks City Council

Two U.S. Border Patrol agents met with the Forks City Council on Monday. Field Operations Supervisor Rafael Cano said:

“We’re going to continue to enforce the laws as they’re written on the books. We’re going to do so because Congress said they wanted us to do so. We’ve been mandated by Congress to do so. We’re very interested in developing partnerships. We work very closely with multiple local, state, federal and tribal agencies.”

Station supervisor Jose Romero said:

“When we talk about partnerships, it’s not just about finding illegal immigrants. It’s not just about finding terrorists. But we also deal with narcotics. That’s part of our authority. It’s any type of contraband. Terrorism is a threat, and I understand it’s not something that we see here daily or weekly, monthly or yearly. With terrorism, it’s not a Johnny-come-lately. It’s not what happened recently. One act of terrorism is one too many.”

Well, I don't think it should take that many agents to cover this area when they are more badly needed in other areas.

I was bitching to Rick about the fact that no one in this Monkeyville sold stainless steel hog rings, they are handy for fishermen as they don't rust.

He said, "Why don't you buy a stick of stainless rod and make your own?"

What a great idea, I should have thought of that, I'm off to Sunset Wire and Rope now.

They should all catch crabs, the no working slackers.

Their numbers are simply indefensible.

With that many of them roaming the countryside with virtual carte blanche there's bound to be big trouble sooner or later.

Slackers.

50 Agent US Border Patrol stations & news blackouts don't go together.

March 2011- 30 day public comment period for 50 agent station project. Public comments have never been released, published or discussed- project has moved forward.

Imagine a school district moving to expand staff & facilities while dictating a news blackout on student population, number of students graduated last year, number of teachers on staff, etc.

Where do we sign up to report on our neighbors? I think mine are drug smuggling, bomb making illegals hell bent on the downfall of this great country of ours. They should be taken to a camp or something.
