Black Ball Ferry Line Has Been Sold
Black Ball, the owner of the MV Coho ferry service, has been sold to the company's five senior managers. Black Ball was previously owned by the Oregon State University Foundation.

Glad to see this! There is a good crew on that boat. I hope the economics work.
It's always been well maintained and updated, hopefully that will continue.

Now, what in the HELL was that low flying airplane at about 9:30 on Weds night? Shook the whole house, but not a word in the PDN
You don't expect the PDN to cover what goes on around town, do you? They are just a rah-rah rag for the City and that cirlce of special people.

It was most likely a military plane / jet doing test runs through the Strait.

might happen all the time, but it was below FAA standards. Shook the house, made the hanging lights sway. It was really, not right. I'll call in a complaint to the FAA
