The burn ban in Clallam County usually expires on October first.  Because of the continuing dry weather this year, Community Development Director and fire marshal Sheila Roark Miller has extended the ban indefinitely.

No kidding. No rain in the forecast. In fact, the Oct. 7th forecast says it will get up to 62. So in the foothills will be in the 70s. Heaven.

I'm loving global destruction and warming so I don't need fires to stay warm out camping.

Well have fun camping this weekend with an armed and very dangerous person lurking around. Nice that Clallam released a pic of the car he is driving today. Thing is, they didn't say the make, and I can't tell what it is. Good effort, though, Clallam. Don't let him see your hand. A plan is better than no plan at all.

There is no dry spell this year, people. Wake up!! This is just part of the liberal media's conspiracy to grab our guns!! Or something else very serious and requiring many exclamation points!!!!

It appears from looking at the photo of the fugitive's car that it is a reddish-color 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 2-door. Rather unusual car for around here; most people who drive Explorers drive four-door models.
