What we need locally is a marijuana growing curriculum.

Of course the feds are going to come after us and prevent us from forming this market.

Maybe there is a local lawyer with health care concerns that will help us fight the feds?

After all, suicide rates drop with more marijuana smoking, people drink less, people snort less coke, mainline less speed, beat their wives less, cops save money, jails save money, courts save money, less money to big pharma...

Plus, it is good for the land and requires NO irrigation! It's a WIN WIN as far as our health, water issues, and the economy.

Our local lawyers with experience in fighting the feds over health care and water issues will surely help!

It's expensive to convert a modern rid to run on propane or I'd do it in a heartbeat. Being as I'm a retired master mechanic I could save the labor money but it would still be expensive for the components.

And then the price of propane would go up after everyone converted.

Billy sez: "And then the price of propane would go up after everyone converted"

Yep! You're right. Isn't that the point?! The oil companies need more money, so they can run more TV ads to convince us that our future relies on increased reliance on fossil fuels.

Oh, and don't forget the money they need for lobbying the politicians.

I'd love to quit my day job and start a local, organic marijuana farm. Or even just grow hemp. But I'm sure the regulations and taxes will make it nearly impossible to be profitable.

Um, not to sound overly cynical, but is there really enough demand for this? We've been through this with bio-fuel and corn and all we got is more expensive corn and meat.

We would be better off teaching people to add gas or electric motors to bicycles.
