Wild Pacific Salmon Threatened by Deadly Virus
Wild Pacific Salmon have been testing positive for a European strain of Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA). This is according to Canadian biologist Alexandra Morton. This virus has already struck farmed salmon populations in other parts of the world. The virus is not harmful to people who eat the salmon, but poses a huge threat to ecosystems and local economies that depend on salmon.

Who cares. The wild salmon are starving to death because of ocean acidification killing off their food.
Buy another V8.
Thanks, MAX.
Will he or won't he?
The burning question of the hour and only his hairdresser knows for sure!
Still, every thread gets hijacked by the troll.
I blame Tom.
Whose hairdresser?
No point in posting anything here, as long as it is going to be this stupid.
Nature happens. And we are a virus she has to deal with also, I give us about another twenty years.
The simple truth is that the salmon pens in Canada are located in prime wild salmon migration paths, wild salmon smolts congregate under the pens, sea lice jump on to them and it's game over. This has depleted the wild runs for years. The virus will finish the job quickly, WHY TAKE THE CHANCE.
Sea lice?!
The ocean can not acidify fast enough for me!
I mean, ewwwwwwww ... sea lice!
It is so forward thinking for Port Angeles to spend millions of dollars to create another downtown beach, so that more visitors can swim amongst the sea lice!
Oh, Esplanado, you twee lil monkey! Oh, Max tee hee!
