According to Roberts Rules of Order I'm sure. I never was very fond of that controlling asshole, it's like going to a city council meeting.
Speaking of the city council, where's The Watcher these days?
PORT ANGELES -- Harbor-Works Development Authority Executive Director Jeff Lincoln has been granted a $15,000 a year raise retroactive to March.
Lincoln, who was hired in May 2009 at a salary of $115,000 annually, receives new salary of $130,000, representing a 13 percent increase.
Translation: "I want to help you, as long as I get paid really good for it."
*Rolls eyes*
They also increased his vacation to 25 days! Why does he qualify for vacation at all? Aren't contract employees essentially self-employed?
Wonder what caused all of this largess. Hmmm....

Monkeys that think they are special and deserve more. What this town needs is monkeys that are special and willing to help it for nothing, or next to nothing.
I think we should raise Barb's salary to $130,000 a year. You know, considering all the work she does and all.

Babbling is hard work? ??
Just in case you didn't hear, almost 100 Business people attended Jon Schallert seminar yesterday. He was a very good speaker and gave us alot to think about and work on as business owners. Thanks to all that put this on!
SEATTLE -- An announced candidate for Clallam County's top criminal prosecutor post appeared in King County District Court on Tuesday after he was arrested for investigation of intoxicated driving and drug possession by Seattle-Tacoma International Airport police late Sunday evening.
Hahahahaha
Oh what the hell, get him over here, we can all smoke pot with him and he can't collar us. At least he'll be for legalizing it.
Another quixotic campaign for higher office by David Fox.

According to the PDN, it was 75, so probably really only 50 people paid. Big deal. So what did he TELL YOU? Pray tell. Did he say to use facebook, use twitter. Does the dude even realize that this area has a very low density of computer users? Might as well put notes in a bottle and throw them into the Strait. Or better, yell from the rooftops.
Are you going to follow the pied piper and go to his $1200 ($2000 with lodging and meals) and learn more from the great master?
My eyes are rolling. fyi.
Is it wrong I find the David Fox situation so freakin' funny??
Next week, Seattle Times does an investigative series of articles on "what exactly is in the Port Angeles water supply?"
David's not trying to stuff his cat onto a tree branch in public again, is he?
Does the dude even realize that this area has a very low density of computer users?
Oh, I think that the density is high enough but being as many of us are country hicks we prefer sharing risque humor and light porn over the internut.
Lots of new information at this meeting.
Ex., A rep from Dept of Natural Resources explained the role of the leased land upon which Rayonier has made "improvements." This includes the fill, jetty and pier.
Rayonier is responsible for removing those when they quit leasing from DNR.
Old photos of the original shoreline were shown.
There was a rep from the state's Puget Sound Partnership.
Ecology was there and had a very good explanation of the process - according to the Agreed Order between Ecology and Rayonier, the planning for cleanup will start in 3 years.
We have been told for years that the level of cleanup is determined by future use. That is not correct - Ecology determines the cleanup to make sure there are no pathways for contaminants to continue polluting groundwater, the harbor and Ennis Creek.
