Steve Tharinger Won't Seek Re-Election as Clallam County Commissioner

Steve Tharinger, simultaneously serving as a state representative and a Clallam County commissioner, has announced he will not seek a fourth term for his Clallam County position. He said the decision not to run again for the Clallam County post:

“...has been particularly difficult because it is never easy to leave a good team. But I am very much looking forward to continuing to serve the Peninsula in the capacity of state representative.”

How clever! You mean Codi Blevins? Oh, I don't think I could have figured that out unless Lonnie pointed it out to me.

What are those noises under that floor?

Must be campaign workers.

I predict that we will all miss the sane, transparent, responsive and fiscally sound Board of County Commissioners that we have enjoyed over the last 11 years. One can only hope that the voters will be equally thoughtful in selecting his replacement.

Sure you're planning to run, "Max"?"

Again, as has been asked of you over and over: "You know this to be true based upon exactly what?"

You have yet to offer any shred of actual proof or evidence that Max Mania posts here under those names. Just your deluded fantasies.

Why wouldn't Max post under his own name, if he were inclined to post here? Others, including those in leadership positions have. It is not illegal for public representatives to post on blogs such as this.

As has been suggested before, you should make use of the mental health facilities up on 8th st. They have treatment programs for obsessives like yourself.

And, I do hope Max runs again. He has shown himself to be a thoughtful and reasonable public representative!

I had to put the quote marks around "Max's" assumed name for you.

"A thoughtful public representative"? The "thoughts" in his head come from Saul Alinsky, Karl Marx and what Norma, Darlene and Ed Chadd put in there!

Yes, you are the person who thinks the Nazis were liberals, and that Adolf Hitler was a leftist.

Fortunately for the United States of America, your views are those of a small fringe minority of extremists.

"Exremism in defence of Liberty is no vice."

You just keep telling yourself that. It doesn't change the reality that you have no integrity, and espouse extremist views.

You accuse and insult freely, but never back up anything you spout.

But, you just keep spouting away. You do know that phrase about giving someone enough rope?
