Profile of Farmers Market Shoppers

At the Port Angeles Farmers Market this Saturday, a researcher will be counting and interviewing shoppers. Colleen Donovan of Washington State University’s Small Farms Program will get a “rapid market assessment.” This will hopefully provide helpful information to the manager and twenty-nine vendors of the farmers market.

I have no idea why they set up there and hope to make much money when there are better locations for them to operate at.

Apparently I have no clue about a hell of a lot of a lot of things anymore.

Better turn these problems over to the over paid idiots running this town.

Tom...You might have noticed how there hasn't been much response to the last several topics you've posted - other than BBC. Cause and effect?

You have the right to remain silent, hahaha.

They may do better if they relocated to the lot of the old Saar's Market Place, that fellow there seems to be doing okay. Birds of a feather flock together.

And operate two days also.

The problem is not Billy.

But, I do agree about the cause and effect caused by the troll.

Get your facts right before you speak, I wasn't aware of this blog until a friend pointed it out to me. I come here because I live here and Tom provides alternate formal for us to state our opinions about local issues.

You don't have to like me or my opinions, no more than I have to care what you don't like me, you don't know me.

Maybe one day that group will talk to a 'marketing expert' and is wise enough to tell them that Farmers Market is not that good of a choice for them.

It's not like it's a big veggie stand, lot of other vendors there, how many just see the sign and go on because they're not looking for veggies that day>

DOWNTOWN BAZAAR
101 BAZAAR

etc...

But don't listen to me, I'm an idiot at location and marketing.

The produce I have had from the Farmer's Market here is outstanding. The people there are very friendly and positive. It is a real asset to Port Angeles.

Did they need to "profile" shoppers before they moved the farmers market?

Did they REALLY need to MOVE it?

If it ain't broke, guess what?

That's right, they'll break it.

What next, cutting the TREES in Lincoln Park?

Some other outragous NONSENSE they (over)paid some genius to propose?

The stupid burns, deep.

Very true, good folks.

It is a real asset to Port Angeles.

No matter where it is, but they can't grow there.
