New Air Monitoring Devices Coming to Port Angeles and Sequim
The Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) will soon be completing the installation of three new air-quality monitors in Port Angeles and Sequim. An ORCAA spokesperson said:
“Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, we can start getting data.”

What about the $20 million dollar cost of moving part of the old dump? Anybody know how much a 135 foot tall, 300 foot wide, concrete and rebar retaining wall would cost?
"The monitors are inaccessible to the public and can be read remotely from the agency’s Olympia office."
Isn't the existing Sequim monitor data already available online somewhere?
Will they be measuring co2 levels?
Will they be measuring TCH levels?
"Anybody know how much a 135 foot tall, 300 foot wide, concrete and rebar retaining wall would cost?"
I think the city spent about $6 million doing exactly that, about 5 years ago. Funny thing about coastal erosion: it keeps on eroding where the retaining wall stops. Just what happened at the city landfill. The bluffs kept eroding, resulting in the current "emergency".
And, they were told this would happen, in writing, before they went ahead to build the retaining wall.
As with all these other projects, they don't care. It's just more taxpayer money to them.
Save the 20 million and let nature reclaim it, she's going to whip our asses someday anyway. With our help of course, humans are fools.
You know what they say, nothing in nature is wasted, in a few million years we'll be the next oil.
The air monitoring for Clallam County is currently done at Stevens Middle School in Port Angeles. See data at

" Will they be measuring TCH levels?"
What is TCH? "Technically Challenged Humans"?
What's co2? Some new carbon isotope? Never seen it written that way. Dumb place to ask that question. Is your google broken? Or are you just drunk?
THC is one of the more wonderful active ingredients in marijuana.

All that gadgetry is no match for a pair of scissors. Oh, I'm sure it was an accident!

Too bad guys like this are not safe in custody. Too bad we wanted him back. What a fucking waste of time, air, and money. Lots and lots of money. Lots. Keep your kiddies locked up while the Clallam CASH MACHINE works out the kinks.
To Whom It May Concern (the person whose comments keep getting deleted):
This blog is NOT your personal bludgeon for you to keep using in your ongoing vendetta. If you have such an important message to get out, start your own blog and then you can spew and blather away to your heart's content.
It takes about two minutes to open a Blogger account and create a new blog. Anyone can figure out how to do this, even you.
OK, go do it -- the key word being "Go."
"Dumb place to ask that question. Is your google broken? Or are you just drunk?"
The question was "What is TCH ?", in response to the post "Will they be measuring TCH levels?

I did Google TCH, and came up with a number of interesting sites, including "The Clearing House", and something about Cabinet Hardware. Didn't seem relevant.
In reading the article about the landfill, with cost estimates (now) up to $70 million, we'll see another Glen Cutler mega project.
These projects always cost more than originally stated to the public, and city council. Already the council has been asked for, and approved cost increases in the current Cutler mega project, the supposed CSO project. This one is already the city's most expensive project.
At $70 million, the landfill will become the city's most expensive project.
Of course, there are the "usual suspects" on the PDN site, advocating we just let the garbage fall into the Strait.
It is our garbage, but we don't want to be responsible for it?
Let the true colors be revealed.
Funny how one person's "ongoing vendetta" is okay for you, Tom, but not another. People get smeared here on your blog almost every day. Why? Because you say all topics are open to discussion here...but then censor some topics. You're a fucking liar and a hypocrite, and you know it. And you also know the truth about the Randazzos, even if you won't admit it "out loud." They're users and liars, and that's giving them the best of it. And you protect them. NICE.
Sheesh, sounds like somebody needs a nap. Who WAS that masked city councilman?
Gee Mr.9:47 PM, February 03, 2013, You call Tom out by name for abuse, you call the Randazzos out by name, level all kinds of accusations, and then sign your name 'Anonymous". I can only imagine the silly shit of yours that is deleted. You really should make your own blog...You could call it "the Talking Pussy" or "Noballsatall".
Gee WTF? Seems like you're in the same boat. The only issue you seem to come here to comment about is people posting as "Anonymous"! You really should start your own blog, so you can rant on to your heart's content about people who don't publish their real names on the internet. Like yourself!
9:13 AM, February 07, 2013 First off stupid, I'm not calling out people by name, am I? The only reason you would know that I complain about anonymous cowards is because I use the same tag every time. And yeah, I HAVE tried to encourage chicken shits like you to at least do that so they can answer for themselves and their comments.(Which of course you are afraid to do EVEN while maintaining anonymity) See, I don't know if you are the anonymous bitch from yesterday or a new one.
I'm amused....
Are we really going to go over this stupid "Anonymous" crap, all over again? Why can't people like WTF? accept there are valid reasons for people to post as "Anonymous", and let it go?
It is like religion. Just because you believe, doesn't mean you have the right to rant at and insult others who do not.
