Community Emergency Response Team training Now Available
The Clallam County Sheriff's Department will be offering Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. This is a free 20-hour instruction program covering search and rescue, fire suppression, terrorism awareness, disaster preparedness,
disaster medical operations and disaster psychology.
The training will be held on three Saturdays: January 26th, February 2nd and February 9th.

Silver lining....LOTS of cheap cars on craigslist! FINALLY! :) Good luck, however, removing all the Fritos (tm) from between the seats. In this climate, very difficult. Don't even get me started about the Capn' Crunch (tm)!
Silver lining #2...with many potsmokers too paranoid to drive, makes the alcoholics and those with mechanical/safety violations, etc. on the road stick out!
A study was released recently that proved that the safest drivers were potsmokers with expired tabs....TOO FUNNY.

Good thing the cops recently informed us there were only five residential burglaries in Clallam in the last year or I'd believe this article!
