Patty Murray to Reintroduce Wild Olympics Legislation

The link at the PDN website isn't working at the moment, but according to the headline on their main page, Sen. Patty Murray is re-introducing legislation to expand the Olympic National Forest by more than 126,000 acres.  And this new acreage would serve as a buffer around Olympic National Park.

Presumably, by the time you're reading this, the link will either be working or the article will have been deleted.

It will take the support of people from outside of Clallam County (meaning the greater Washington State and USA) to do the right thing and protect Olympic Peninsula natural resources from the ravages of local predators. Thank you, Senator Murray, for reintroducing this important legislation. I am disappointed that Derek Kilmer appears to be so wobbly and weak-kneed on this issue.

One of the genius commenters at te PDN story suggested a second amendment solution to the Patty Murray problem. So much crazy in the world.

Executive Orders by Obama concerning Cap and Trade, if it does not pass, will put an end to our burning biomass bullshit! He HAS the authority under the Clean Air Act!!!

As far as the Wild Olympics...Murray wants a legacy....Kilmer wants to get reelected. Don't see congress passing this in this session.

Do you approve or disapprove it? I'm not sure how I feel about it.
