State Supreme Court Decks Tim Eyman
The Washington State Supreme Court has struck down the two-thirds super-majority requirement in the state legislature for raising taxes. It must be nice to be on the side that only needs to win 34% of the vote.
Tim Eyman's cult can try amending the Washington State Constitution, but this will require a two-thirds vote in both houses of the legislature and the approval of two thirds of the state's voters. Good luck with that. The shoe will be on the other foot for a change.

I'd guess most of the local white wing wackos didn't see this coming. Real estate values just went up .05% in Idaho.
One more chance for the tea party (republicans) in Clallam, the people in charge, to seamlessly pivot against their principles and suck up as much state money as they can, for every project under the sun, while still raising our taxes, fees, etc. "Oh, we are growing again, we are so far behind because of the Obama recession, we need to plan for the future, bla bla bla, look how bad crime is here under the evil Obama, bla bla bla, give us more money..."
Despite these old, senile, motherfucking teabaggers, I expect some of our old, lingering issues that our forefathers left us to get some attention now, and for things, in general, to improve for the rest of us out here on the peninsula. It's just a matter of time.
They've got to die off sooner or later but I'm afraid the underfunded education system has already produced the next generation of teabaggers.
