Jim Haguewood is an idiot. One of the most idiotic idiots around in Clallam County. A great fit with PABA, to be sure!
Jim Haguewood is no idiot, you're showing Port Angeles petty jealousy.
So, the City is giving over $400,000 a year to Haguewood, Veenama and crew for "economic development"? What, exactly, do we see each year, for this expenditure?
Jim Haguewood, from many reports, is a nice guy with good ol' boy family connections to PA insiders, but he ran the Business Incubator into the ground and left taxpayers stuck with hundreds of thousands of dollars of unpaid debt when, as its Director, he failed to make payments to repay the loan of public money. Some of the Incubator's then Board of Directors, in actions smacking of either gross neglect or intentional misrepresentation, helped to sugarcoat and mask the Incubator's dismal performance. In retrospect, the Incubator was yet another money-sucking scheme that benefited only a very few, and left the majority of the public holding the bag.
The PABA gig unfortunately provides people like Haguewood a platform for resume' inflation and re-creation of history --- all the better to woo unsuspecting future clients or employers, I suppose.
LOL! "Economic Development"? Yeah, for those few the City is handing $400k a year to! I'm sure their personal economic situation has been developing quite well!

Oh how wrong you are, and you should really do your homework before you spout your lies. The School District built the Skills center for their use with borrowed money and burdened the Incubator with the debt. Definitely not Haguewoods fault, he inherited the whole mess from the original director Bill Peach.
So, is it just me, or is the PDN's website down? Whenever I try to access it today, it looks like they forgot to renew their domain registration.
And yes, Jim Haguewood is indeed an idiot. And, as another poster has pointed out, he's an expensive idiot to have around.

If you want your blog to be taken seriously and you truly want thoughtful, intelligent dialogue - allowing comments like BBC's is counterproductive. I suspect there are lots of people who would participate - but not when you allow sexist comments along with the junior high bashing that takes place. I would bet that few if any women, much less intelligent women, are participating in this blog. It may be time to reconsider who you want involved. This blog could be a good thing if its done right. Right now, it seems to appeal to a great extent, to the "lowest common denominator"

And, because of Jim Haguewood, the other great leaders in economic development, AND that $400k the taxpayers give these folks, the unemployment numbers rise in Clallam County.

I was just speaking a truth, Melody would have told you that herself, she is a bit of a wild one. And she showed her tits to plenty of people when drinking.

I haven't seen her for years, they say she had to get out of town before the cops caught up with her, last I heard she was in Las Vegas.
