Lincoln Park Trees Closer to Getting Cut Down

Port of Port Angeles officials will be meeting this Thursday with the FAA to discuss the removal of the Lincoln Park trees that are obstructing the flight approach to Fairchild Airport.  Port interim Executive Director Ken O’Hollaren and Airport and Marina Manager Jerry Ludke will be attending the meeting.

Gotta pretend the airport actually is viable.

Or, is it just about getting grant money, again?!

The airport is a failing business, trees or no trees. The Port just wants to log the park, airport or no airport. And the City Council (minus Max Mania) is too stupid to see any of the above, and happy to go along with this latest harebrained scheme. They love to spend YOUR money in support of THEIR stupid decisions.

A. Right front
B. Left front
C. Right rear
D. Left rear

Or...fer fun!

This Thanksgiving, we will stuff the turkey with:

B. Crack/powdered Coke
C. Heroin
D. Are you kidding? A full can of open beer, just like gramma's turkey!

Reported this evening on Seattle TV news, some sensible bullshit group, for responsible bla bla bla, is having a press conf. tomorrow, promoting an idea to make most, if not all, drug offences (like meth, heroin) in WA a misdemeanor. Supposedly public officials and lawmakers will be there, in support.

Who will mind PA city hall tomorrow?

More consultants, more projects, more tax increases.

I see one PDN commentor saying he moved away, and is urging his remaining family members to leave this "money pit", as well.

Doing nothing changes nothing. We DO have choices.

8:44 - Yeah, and put up FUCKING WINDMILLS. Until the fucking trees grew back, we'd make a fortune! Now that 101 is widening, and Sequim is about ready to explode in growth again, I'd like to see it go bye bye. It's OBVIOUS traffic (that lands) is down!
