Allied Titanium Inc. to locate Manufacturing Plant in Sequim
Allied Titanium Inc., based in Delaware, is planning to open a factory in Sequim. This factory is supposed to eventually employee between 50 and 150 people. CEO Christopher Greimes said he hopes the factory in Sequim will manufacture a lot of the 93,000 products that Allied Titanium now makes in China. He said:
“We know that we can manufacture parts cost-effectively in Sequim. The land and the taxes and the power are less than they are in China.”
Sequim Mayor Candace Pratt said:
“On behalf of the Sequim City Council, we welcome Allied Titanium to Sequim. Their decision to move their western headquarters to the city of Sequim reflects on our council goal of establishing economic development values and guiding principles that support economic growth in the city.”

That would have been nice to have in the more labor rich PA but it's close enough. Congrats Sequim! WHOO HOOO!!
Offtopic, another PA blog is now allowing the "f" word. As Maya Angelou said, paraphrasing, angry good, bitter bad!
Hurricane Ridge, that place that is accessed only through Port Angeles, that dump of a town that has much more affordable housing than Sequim and is a quick 15 minute commute on the newly widened highway, is now the highest rated tourist spot in Washington St. according to Parade Mag. and Tripadvisor. It will prove to be a great place for all the new Sequim residents to visit.

93,000 products, is there anything they don't make?
Nice that they've been certified as "Green" before anyone knows what they are going to make.
