Sequim Anti-Labor Initiatives Will Not Be On November Ballot
Two proposed Sequim union-busting initiatives will not be on the ballot this November. The proponents of these initiatives — a deep-pocketed rightwing think tank and its local tools — had filed a lawsuit demanding that the initiatives either be enacted by the Sequim City Council or placed on the November ballot.
But Clallam County Superior Court Judge Erik Rohrer has ruled that “genuine issues of material fact” need to be “resolved at trial.” A trial date will be set during a hearing this Friday in Clallam County Superior Court. In addition to the City of Sequim, Teamsters Local 589, which represents 50 of the city's 73 employees, will be added as a defendant in the upcoming lawsuit.

Isn't "evolution" grand?
As these well funded right wingers take bits and pieces of what makes upo our society, and work to change them to what they believe should be.
Bit by bit, society evolves into a police state where you will be told what to do, when, and how.

Today's PDN poll is a tough one. I say that with a heavy heart. I'd imagine results would be similar outside of any urban area, and that's sad. His lists of accomplishments is impressive. But, I guess it depends on who you are.

UPDATE - with 99 votes in, and it's believed that Joyce was weighing heavy there as Dancing with the Stars came off the air earlier, Holder's poor rating "plummeted" (not scientific) from 80% to 56% but the bars just let out so dust off yer escape keys boyyyz and guuuurls and FEEL THE HATE! :)

My apologies, Tom. I do like what you do. I support your goal of letting people speak what is on their mind. The troll just makes it hard, as I'm sure you know.
