Congressional Boost for Olympic Discovery Trail
A federal designation will provide more funding for the Olympic Discovery Tail, which will ultimately go from Port Townsend to LaPush.

I think this is good. Gives people a good way to walk or bike and for the most part, away from traffic.
I've been working on the trail some at Blyn, it's going to be a hard push from there on to Port Townsend because of property issues.
Two words: Eminent Domain. Enough dickin' around, get that trail to Port Townsend done before the next Ice Age.
You mean our tax dollars will be going to something I, and many others, actually use? Wow.
Seriously, though, I've been using that trail a lot this year. I've seen a lot of families and seniors using it, biking, walking, whatever. It's a great resource for locals. Thank you to all the volunteers who put their time in building and maintaining it.
