I-1033

Here’s a nice bland non-controversial subject that nobody will have an opinion on.

Here are some websites describing I-1033 in case you aren’t familiar with it or want more information.

I’m personally against it, and everybody I’ve talked to about it is against it. But it’s way ahead in the polls.

What say you?

Teachers are are always crying about how little they make, compared to what? I know some that go on some pretty nice vacations to other countries, poor folks can't afford to do that.

And they have pretty good benefits also, is no one ever happy with just what they have?

I wrote about the education system in this country years ago. What irritates me most about it is how much the administrators make, being as they think they are so smart and special you know.

Fuck, it's just educating kids, it's not rocket science. And in this country, like most countries, they are taught stupid shit anyway.

Like history and politics and capitalism, it's ninety percent brainwashing.

The Nature Conservancy sent out a postcard asking people to vote "no" on this.

I am voting "no" on this.

This is the aftermath of Bush's America. The value of housing soared while jobs decreased and wages flatlined. And now we want property values to go up again? Geez. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford property, so this doesn't affect me.

You are kidding...some group sends you a post card, and instead of doing your own thinking...you'll just go with a post card recommendation? Is this shallow, or is thinking and researching on your own just toooo hard for you?
I'm not recommending one way or another, but to let a post card direct your choice...
How stupid is that!

I'm sorry you don't own your own little space on this rock, I think that everyone should. Mine is free and clear, it isn't much but at least it's mine.

It's nice to not have any payments and for the living to be cheap.

You know of nobody in favor of this? Consider widening the social circle.

You start doing the math and extrapolate out 10 years, the taxes get scary.

Limited government growth is not the devil.

I saw that the city is trying to scare people into believing a vote for the initiative means a possibility of cutting vital services. If you believe that bit of hokum, let me assure you there is ZERO chance of that happening. ZERO.

I beg people to dig into the bill and examine the numbers.

And it's not scary now?...

Taxes are already way too high and the only thing a No vote on I-1033 does is RAISE YOUR TAXES!!!

You MUST vote YES on I-1033!! If you vote NO, you may as well buy yourself a one-way ticket to Moscow, Havana or Beijing.

Post card recipients-Wake the fuck up! Vote YES on I-1033.
