Unions File Suit to Block Liquor Privatization

Two unions, United Fruit and Commercial Workers Local 21 and Washington Teamsters Joint Council 28, have filed a suit to block I-1183, the initiative that privatized liquor sales in Washington.  The unions are charging that the full intent of I-1183 was obscured by the millions of dollars spent by Costco to promote the initiative.

This is a great example as to why the Union is a joke, what are they going to do? Save jobs? Yeah right...

I don't think the Union understands how much revenue small businesses will make from this, as well as the extra money in the people's pocket.

How sick can the union be to deny the voter's of Washington their rights? Those scoundrels

Personally, I like the state ran stores, they're clean and well stocked and the service is good. Why would I want to stand in line in a grocery store to pay for one bottle of Brandy?
