Marine Sanctuary Campus in Port Angeles

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has recommended building a campus in Port Angeles for oceanic research.

The NOAA suggested a partnership between the Arthur D. Feiro Marine Life Center and the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary.  Other potential partners could include the Port, the City, Peninsula College and the tribes.

I'm sure the folks in Neah Bay are excited about the possibility of the new trailer. Not to mention the fact of how blessed they are that there was enough space left for that line of copy to fit at the very end of the article.

Didn't NOAA already decide Port Angles had no "quality of life"?

The sanctuary employees need to be located near the sanctuary. The sanctuary is located off the coast. Port Angeles is the nearest big town. The sanctuary already contributes positively to the quality of life here, and expanding their offices in Port Angeles can only make things better for everybody -- visitors and employees alike.
Welcome, NOAA!

I guess you are new in town. Otherwise, you would remember that NOAA already considered locating facilities to Port Angles, but decided not to after realizing its' poor employees would have to live around here, and that Port Angeles has nothing to offer.

Look it up. We've been down this path before.
