One-Month Hold on Glines Canyon Dam Removal

An already-planned hold on removing the remaining part of Glines Canyon Dam has been extended by at least one month.  This delay will allow workers to complete modifications to a water treatment plant that was clogged with mud and debris from recent heavy rains.

At least I got to boat it with a lady that knows the area well before they started removing it.

I really like her but I'm too much of a stretch for her I guess. Waves at Willow.

In an interview before the City Council vote on the settlement agreement, city Public Works Director Glenn Cutler said he thinks the transit center turned out well and is glad to see it being used by the community.

Oh, there is nothing to be concerned about. The environment is doing just fine, and human activities are not having ANY impacts.

The sediment just piled up there, by itself. The human constructed dams had nothing to do with that. The oceans are turning more acid, and the marine food chain is breaking apart all because of "natural" causes. Fluctuations in sun spots, or something like that. Has nothing to do with the bjillion tons of carbon we dug out of the ground in the last 100 years, and set loose.

Just go about your business, nothing to be concerned about.

I think that leaders just want to make their empires bigger, their way. If there was a way to get a better economy here they would do just that. They don't believe in limiting the size and population of a town.
