Wow, Jefferson gets all the good marijuana toys. Thanks PDN for scaring all the teabaggers in Port Angeles and then rubbing it in consistently that we don't get to play!

Oh, well, much more money and WAY more "jobs" in the gigantic all encompassing meth merry-go-round. It's a multi-generational job making machine! Why fuck with a good thing?

So, with oil at $80 a barrel, lots of projects once possible, like all of the fracking that has been going on, is not economically viable.

But, gee, look who has oil that is cheap to produce? Our friends, the Saudis, who can still make money with oil at $40 a barrel.

The "go-go" economies of the West are slowing down, and don't need as much oil.

Slow down. Of course, in Port Angeles, no body cares. Until their retirement portfolios collapse. If they have one.

If people were smart, here, they would be working on self sufficiency, and that does not mean buying more guns and ammo.

Albertson's eggplant. I know, exciting day.

Go buy an eggplant at Albertsons. They are a dollar, and are PERFECT - NOW.

Preheat oven to 375. Turn on a burner to medium. Put ceramic pan in oven.

Cut eggplant in 3/4" pieces. Salt just a bit. Set aside. Crack egg/scramble. Pour flour on plate - whole wheat works great. Don't add any other seasoning as they cook so long and these have great flavor (but are not at all bitter).

Take hot pan out, put on burner. Pour in half a cup or so of olive oil, a good bit - you don't want to have to add cold oil as it is cooking. Double bread the eggplant - egg, flour, egg, flour, put in pan.

Cook on stove a few minutes, don't turn, but lift each up very gently a few times with fork, to develop crust, get the oil back under it. Turn off burner. Put in oven. TURN DOWN OVEN to 310 or so. Turn over every 15 minutes or so, till they are how you like them. For me, about 45 minutes, fairly well done.

Turn off oven. Drain on towel/Bit more salt. Eat.

BBC, back yet? How was Tejas?

If there were a Mosque in PA, I'd go. I bet it would be cool and trippy and inspirational. And more welcoming than most of the churches here! ZING!
