Navy's Electronic Warfare Program: Public Forum in Port Angeles

On Thursday November 6th, 6 p.m. in the Port Angeles City Council chambers,  there will be a public forum on the Navy's proposed electronic warfare program on the West End.

Interesting comments at the end of the linked article.  Only one commenter has expressed concern over the possible hazards of this program, and another commenter responded with You seem to be the only one with your shorts in a knot.....nobody else really cares.

Well, who really does care?

It is, after all, way out west and not around here. The Makah or whoever may (or may not) care.

My shorts ain't in a knot over it!

Slowly evolves? That already happened. We're full on empire now, and like all empires, if you're not in the upper class in the homeland, you're just a conquered people like everyone else.

True, but the locals still think they are in control, some how. They still think it only concerns somebody else. Anybody but them. They don't seem to understand, and still support ever more laws being passed that screw them over even more.

Trained acceptance. "For your security, we will spy on everything you do."
