What a waste of time!

Think of all the hours spent each week at PABA, Chamber, EDC, and all the other meetings, that after years and years, cannot point to anything they have accomplished.

Stay home, and tell your spouse how much you love them. Kiss them. Hug them.

Time much better spent.

Jamestown S'Klallam tribe has its own ideas for redeveloping Rayonier site.

May as well make a deal with them, they'll be able to get things done there that look good. How about a casino and whorehouse.

PABA doesn't get it.....might as well tell people that some lawyers are crooks, politicians lie, and our economy is in the worst depression in the history of the country. Sure, let some dingbat say all they want, but who really cares?

The County Fair begins next weekend. This is not an event to celebrate but rather an event to condemn, for although it may be regarded as a mere innocent merrymaking sadly it caters to the baser element of our society.

For those of us with higher IQs and higher ideals, the County Fair with all it's backward, redneck implications is repugnant. We must, therefore, work to eliminate the County Fair from Clallam County and replace it with something more sited to the new standards we are working to create.

Rather than a deep-fried, animal abusing, Ma and Pa Kettle spectacle for the unwashed, in-bred, uneducated troglodytes with their jacked up trucks and Confederate flag decals, lets us work together to create an uplifting, educational, peaceful celebration of this our new utopia.

May I suggest the following events:

Womyn-only drumming circle
Blessing of the sea and all the trees
Macrame workshops
An introduction to the Hegelian-Marxist dialectic
Che Guevara look alike contests
Tofu
or perhaps a convention dedicated to people who fall in love with their shoes. Let's show our support and tolerance for this beleaguered minority.

Please write to your City Councilmember and express your disgust with this crazy redneck festival which is the County Fair!
