Temporary Reprieve for Franklin Elementary School

The Port Angeles School District board will keep Franklin Elementary School open, but only temporarily.  The school will still be closed in the near future.  Board member Lonnie Linn told a group of parents and teachers:

“This is a $2 million Band-Aid you got tonight, but it's going to be ripped off in the next 24 months.”

Teachers looking for work might consider North Dakota, I guess they're doing pretty well over there, I heard that hamburger flippers are making fifteen bucks an hour.

Do we have classes to teach our kids on the skills they'll need for their future, as unemployed homeless people living in a country with no support services?

Just dial back 100 years, gardening, raising some meat and eggs, do some hunting and fishing. Build your own place to live.
