I worked at a ski resort once. Was a cold winter, and the Winter Olympics (tm) were on TV, which was wonderful, because the resort had to close for a couple of months unexpectedly, and I missed being inspired by my passion desperately. Such an odd winter, working at a ski resort, that was closed, while the Olympics (tm) were on TV.
What notoriously nay-voting city councilmember and his sign-counting-you're-voting-for-me-aren't-you wife are filing a civil suit alledging "slander" against a soon-departing political bigwig? Might this same city councilmember also be the one making anonymous phones calls to the parents of his political enemies?
My, my...The paranoia is getting pretty thick around here, with a few hallucinations thrown in for good measure.
The .00045 US Swim Team hopefulls in Port Angeles should be home, with his/her muscles going into atrophy, like the rest of us, watching the Olympics on TV, NOT swimming.
Our little Jimmy is so dissapointed this week he can't emmulate his hero Michael Phelps while the Olympics are being held, my husband and I went ahead and purchased him his first bong.
