Depends... Do they mean the average economy of the nation, or just in Port Angeles?
I get it! Unemployment numbers go up, More people are out of work in the area.
Housing sales are slow. Property values not rising. Virtually no new building going on.
Storefronts downtown remain empty for years.
All thise things put together? That must mean the economy is improving.
I'm not big on an improving economy, a bad economy keeps prices down and I'm on a fixed income.
My schooling outside of some college and trade schools was through the 50's, in old school buildings and I don't think those old schools hindered my education one bit.
I guess I got smart enough to make it through life okay but things have changed and I don't know about today's kids, they seem to want to be spoiled.
Laurel Ann is such a sweetheart, I’ve known her since moving here and would move in with her if I could. She offered to give me the money for Helen’s place but being as I’m thinking I would like to move to Texas there is no point in me buying it. Hell, Bob left her very well off and she could write the check and not even miss the money.
I’d rather try to talk her into moving to Texas with me, I’m tired of the people running this fucking area and I don't even need a building permit in Texas.
