Fuel Spill in Port Angeles Harbor

An 840 gallon heavy fuel spill was reported at 3:20 a.m. today in Port Angeles Harbor.  A fuel barge owned by Harley Marine Services was overfilled during fueling operations at the Tesoro Port Angeles Terminal.

A precautionary oil boom had been placed around the barge by Global Diving and Salvage, and this has apparently contained most of the spill.

Rick said that Washington passed the pot thing, well, shit, just cuz I don't do pot doesn't mean I shouldn't plant some pot to exercise my right to do so.

Just think what a bigger mess there would be if no boom had been deployed around the fuel barge. The shipping industry fought that regulation like crazy; but there was a good reason for it --- as illustrated today. Thank you to the local people and environmentalists around Puget Sound who pressed hard for more protections like this and other oil spill prevention rules.

It wasn't really a fuel spill. McKenna was in town sightseeing. While driving by, he decided to wet his comb to comb his hair, and dipped it in the water, not realizing the trouble it would cause.

WOW! A crime wave in Port Angeles on Wednesday? Is that sort of like what teabaggers said would happen in black communities if Obama were to lose?

Well, I guess that's what we get, with the end of traditional America. Lots of stress in teabagger households. From grandma, to mom and dad and the four stepfathers, all the aunts and uncles. Almost feel sorry for them.

"Iniciatives dont confer "rights"."

Had to think about what this person wrote before I got it. Wow!

Now, I'm not big on the Grammar Nazis, but this one shows that there are times when an education counts.

I see, in reading comments on the PDN site that the rabid "Right" in Clallam County only believes in the justice of a majority vote in a democracy when it goes their way.

To celebrate the elections, when two cute LDS guys came to my door tonight, to discuss eternity, I invited them in for a fatty.

I'll never tell!

The initiative is just part of a process to somewhere else, yet to be determined.

I don't have much interest in pot myself, only take a small hit once in a while when around others that use it, it makes them more comfortable about you, as if you are a part of them or something.

I just find it to be an interesting subject.

As the voting stats verify, Clallam County is backwater Loser-Ville.

But, we already knew that.

9:15 AM Sunday - MSNBC's Alex Witt "reads" the front pages of US Sunday papers and the PDN made the cut! She said Port Angeles and Same Sex marriage in the same sentence and they flashed an image of the front page! Whoo hooo!

Looks like there is someone that is not aware of how many gays there are in this town.
