No! You all have it all wrong. The School Superintendent wants to use their time at this PABA meeting to apologize, and wants to figure out how to return all the money Port Angeles residents have paid in levies and taxes.

Wait for it!

Re: "Kids need tech ---"
Yup. That's why Bill Gates put so much money into the charter school initiative. He wants every school kid everywhere (meaning every school kid supported by taxpayer money) to each have a personal lap-top computer or other high tech device. He wants to demonstrate via charter schools that students can learn so much better from a device than from a human teacher. Then it won't be long before all public schools will dispense with certified classroom teachers and instead by each student technology loaded with Microsoft software. Because technology changes every few years, the school districts will continue to have to buy new technology every few years, and Microsoft will be assured a steady market for its products in perpetuity.

"she wants mega-millions for a new high school"
