Forum Presented by Republican Women of Clallam County

Tomorrow at 7:15 p.m., David Rolland, director of the Freedom Foundation’s Stiles Center for Liberty, will be speaking at a forum presented by the Republican Women of Clallam County.  The forum is being held at the Monterra Community Clubhouse, 22 Circle Drive.

By their own description, the Stiles Center “advances the rule of law and a legal climate where individuals can exercise their fundamental liberties and government is limited to its proper role.”

I'm sure the trollish teabaggers who plague this forum will be in attendance.

Unless of course it's Republicans passing egregious laws, limiting individual liberties and expanding the role of government. Like we had nationwide and in Port Angeles during the aughts. Hey if it's Republicans doing it, it's a-okay!!

6:27 - Safeway was out of tinfoil, maybe you are right and they are preparing to go out for a bit.

BBC - as usual, good one. BTW, I see you didn't win the car! I couldn't make my mind up, the car or truck. Oh, well, I now have a year to make my mind up! Maybe next year the prize will be a boat, I'll win, you can teach me how to fish ;)

Same people, doing the same things. How long have that couple been dominating the local Republican party with their obviously extremist minority views?

Keep at it. Who needs losers when you can have "success" like they are?

The speaker will explain why it is improper for the government to be deploying dozens of border patrol agents throughout Clallam County, thereby threatening the fundamental liberties of those who speak English as a second language.

Funny how the rightwingers are always SO in favor of freedom - unless you're gay, or pregnant, or any number of other freedom-yes-but-not-THAT-free things that aren't included in their ideological box of crayons.

And Clallam County Republicans are even MORE behind the times than the average, so they may still be in favor of slavery.

Romney 2016! Dick Pilling for Governor! YES WE CAN!

BBC - I know. It's not fun anymore, being subversive here. Now that 20,000+ high school drop out "do-gooders" working for the NSA have uncovered all the organized crime and corruption in the country, all the blackmail, all the chatting about all the murdering, all the cheating and whoring by all the big wigs, all the cops and judges on the take, all that's going to be exposed soon. NO fun anymore. Rachael Maddow just RUINED it all last night. Nothing I can say here will be shocking anymore. Impossible to keep up. Sigh... Are you sure it's warm enough to go boating?

10:26 - I think it's more about keeping one of the biggest shipping lanes in the world stress free - keeping all that oil flowing. And a good thing. You should bake some cookies and bring them to the offices, get to know them, they really are nice people.

(cont) - Wouldn't it be fun? On your coffee break, not that you would be hurting anyone, not like you had a search warrant, do a quick little search, "how many people yesterday in the US in a stressed out voice, over the phone, used the words, body and bury, in, oh, lets say, a ten minute period." Not like a judge would give a warrant on anything like that, none of our lives are at risk or anything like that. Naw, the technology isn't THAT good, to sift through all the zeros and ones of our cell phone conversations. Those computers aren't big enough to store all that. But if they look, at just an hour of time.... think outside the box, clear some serious RAM, put a big chunk of that computer power into monitoring what is said in just an hour... Now that would be some serious bang for the taxpayer dollar. More like lunch break task, than coffee break. Reminds me, there is a coffee shop on the hill in Seattle, run by an ex software guy, he's got his own wires rigged, so that when regular customers are within twenty feet of the front door, just having their Iphone on, they "predict" and start the order. Something like 98% of the people come in, order the coffee, same thing, day after day, have no idea it's all predicted and that they start making the coffee usually around a minute before it's ordered. Depends on the line. Which moves REALLY fast. Most of the employees don't know either, has a dummy system on the POS, catches all scenarios, even if they change the order, order a muffin, etc. Great beta software.

I'm not a bit concerned about the NSA bullshit, I'm not doing anything wrong and seldom use a cell phone anyway.

But if every American ended their calls or texts with, "It's done but there's blood everywhere."

Or, "The bombs are almost ready to be planted."

It would drive the NSA nuts, they can't keep track of all of us, they're outnumbered.

@ 5:13 AM..... Warm enough to go boating? You may be asking the wrong man, I go boating in the winter.
