Juan de Fuca Festival Attendance Not Hindered by Rain

The twentieth annual Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts was successful in spite of the rain.  Final attendance figures are not available yet, but executive director Dan Maguire said attendance was about the same as, or possibly higher than, the past few years.

After Hours in the Clubs, in which Juan de Fuca musicians performed in several downtown nightclubs, was also successful.

I spent the weekend out in the boondocks away from the news and the internut, it was a fine weekend.

Didn't hear a peep out of PA all weekend, was quiet up on the hill. Must have pointed the speakers in the other direction this year. Glad you had a good weekend, BBC.

Wow, pathetic article in the PDN about Kilmer's meeting here. I'd fit right in, but wow, what a depressing photo too! We all need to get out more! Get some sun! Get a trim! Smile! Let go of xenophobia issues! Go to WalMart, pick up a new shirt! Start a new newspaper!!! ...lol.

What else would you expect the head of the organization to say? That he is being paid to head an event that is failing?
