Crickets....
So, I've noticed the PDN's polls have changed.
No more
a. Obama is a baby killer
b. Obama is a communist and facist
c. I'm just like Obama
Like someone is genuinely trying to to get to know the character of the people around here and the breakdown. I know, I know, it's a phase, and only two polls. Just a thought. Quiet today.
How are you BBC? Good I hope. Going to check out any of the music this weekend? Looks like some interesting acts will be here. Like Scott Cook and Jeffrey Martin. Will check later to see if any of their music is on youtube. Others too, and all free. Thanks for posting the list, Tom, I would not have found it in the PDN online.
Wow, still crickets.
Here's a good one, Tom:
If Obama praised the air, republicans would stop breathing.
As appealing as that sounds, even I think that's too much.
I hope he can refrain.
I think I'm going to start a fencing operation in PA.
That's where criminals sell me things they stole on the cheap, and I resell them. In Portland, Boise, LA...doesn't matter. I've got the time, a two year old truck, and the space! Low over head too! Second thought, I'll just sell them in Sequim or PA. Probably less penalties. Hmm, wonder who might buy them.
And if the city of Port Angeles catches me, I get 30 days off, at home! I'd actually rather do it in city, and get a couple of root canals.
Good gig!
I tell ya, this city is such a great incubator, for good business models.
Gee thanks, PA city cops, etc,and the PDN for not letting us in the city know that Jacob Backman was on the loose here. Thank to the citizen that turned him in, though!
Assholes. Fucking teaparty obstructionism.
Same with giving VanAusdle 30 days at home. Holding this town back. Who the fuck in their right mind would open a retail (essential for tourism) business here now. Oh, a criminal, that's who.
Jim Hallett: Drunk and Clumsy!
Happy Birthday, Jim! You rascally, spendthrift corrupt Port Commissioner, you. I sure hope you have good medical coverage through the Port. I'd hate to think of you having to swindle out enough money to cover your medical expenses. (Glug glug glug...)
Chill, Max, chill.
Anon 9:24 AM -
Chances are the Port Commish could get his medical bills paid through WA Labor & Industries, claiming the broken nose as a work-related injury. Somebody should check the Port's expense account records to see whether he had been drinking some of that $130 per bottle wine the public pays for under the guise of "promotional hosting".
I heard Hallett got beat up by one of the Esprit "girls" when he tried to grope her. This is all just a cover story for the press.
Whatever I say on here, it's like throwing gas on a fire...and I don't know what the fuck any of you are ever talking about.
Except BBC..and Tom.
What a town. If it weren't so sad and pathetic, it (PA, not Tom's blog) might be entertaining. Yes, there are exceptions. But it's sort of hard to tell sometimes...
Nice place to vent, though. If I got to pick where my tax dollars went, I'd put Tom's internet bill, and time served, right up there on expenses the city should make top priority. And BBC's beer bill. You keep spreading the love, dude!
I'll check back in, maybe flirt with BBC...but I'm outttta here.
No no, the reason Jim Hallett passed out is because during the full moon he turns into a psychic pterodactyl and sucks out the souls of the unborn.
Happens all the time.
Quiet weekend in Port Angeles. Was really booming over in Victoria on Saturday. Sunny, too.
I could count on one hand all the people on Port Angeles' waterfront.
Vendors I talked to at the Juan de Fuca festival said things were really slow.
High price of gas? Or, just more evidence everyone knows Port Angeles is pathetic?
