8:56 - I know who cares. The people who feel it, hear it, smell it, and taste it, and don't want to! People who don't like "Drinking Music"!

That's ok, we can wait a summer or two more for reality to sink in...social media will give us fun summers fairly soon. Pot Angeles and Sequim will have competing week long "marijuana" festivals that will take over both towns and the surrounding countryside and will finally put us on the map. It will be coordinated, and hilarious - and all in good fun. EVERYONE will be invited! The draw is obvious. Sequim will boast about closing in on CA as being #1, and having the most "organic" pot farms per capita in the world, with the most dispensaries per capita, while PA will boast of having the highest TCH content of outdoor sustainably grown organic herb in the world.

"Something for the young crowd!"

I assume this comment is sarcastic. This tired line up is as old as every other "idea" in Port Angeles.

Yeah, the kids just LOVE that "folk" music. And the average age of the members of that "rock and roll " band the Supertrees is what, sixty? Sixty five? Wow, groovy fer shure...

Maybe Pat Downie will start a band to be ready for next year? I hear he listens to a lot of black metal.

I heard Sting played across the water a week or so ago? How could he expect to compete with a line up like Port Angeles offers?

I heard that Sting wanted to play here first, but Russ V. and the Chamber hadn't heard of him and turned him down. They know what people REALLY want to hear!

So...We've lost ALL our Americorps volunteers, while gaining the third highest level of opiate-related deaths in the state. Meanwhile, the PDN keeps encouraging us to vote in the "Cutest Pet" contest.

Yes, as Cherie says so often, "It's another GREAT day in Port Angeles!"

On the bright side: at least 2/3rds of us think starting a new war in Syria is a bad idea.

Does the US know how to do anything else BUT wage wars? With the wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan now winding down to being un-manned drone attacks, there are alot of military personnel that have to do SOME thing.
