President of Washington Policy Center will be guest at PABA meeting
At this Tuesday's meeting of the Port Angeles Business Association, the speaker will be Daniel Mead Smith, president of the Washington Policy Center. The Washington Policy Center is a free-market think tank. Topics will include the hazards of increasing the minimum wage, e.g. “too many government regulations are strangling the economy,” “a minimum wage only hurts the people it was designed to help,” etc.

Yeah, I can see how this is true, given the nations' corporations are enjoying record profits, and there are more millionaires and billionaires than ever before.
The stock market is at record highs, as well.
Obviously, the government regulations are strangling these corporations. Clearly, there is not enough money to pay more as a minimum wage, AND have a record number of millionaires and billionaires.
The "jobless recovery" says something, along with these record profits.
Remember the BS we were fed about reducing regulations to help the "job creators"?
These folks will keep saying the same lies. And the hillbillies will keep chumpin' it down by the shovel full.
Jethro!
Is that you?
Granny says get off the computer and chop some wood for the lectric stove!
Marie Antoinette, is that you?
Are you staying with the Clampetts again while your chateau is being fumigated for bed bugs?
Is Granny making cake for you to take to the food bank?
Oh, how special.
